- Tour Manizales y Orquídeas: Colombia is the richest country in the world in orchid species, therefore, this tour is a tribute to the emblematic flower of Colombia. It begins with a visit to a farm that has one of the largest and most varied private orchid collections in the country, with approximately 500 genera and more than 800 species, with native orchids being the priority of its owners. The tour will follow nature trails through fruit orchards, native forests, bodies of water and orchids. Manizales is the capital of the department of Caldas, located on the central mountain range of the Andes and known as the capital of affection. Arriving in the city, lunch of traditional cuisine, then ascend to the Polish corridor, in the Cathedral of the city, which is one of the highest in Colombia and has a unique fusion of Italian, French and Colombian architecture, recreating its majesty. Continue walking towards the main square and learn about the history of its first constructions and monuments to understand the Antioquian colonization and the development derived from the production of the best mild coffee. - Tour Balsaje Rio de la Vieja: You are in the central Andes of Colombia, where some rivers carry the water coming down from glaciers and cloud forests in the mountains. In this tour, we travel the La Vieja River as the ancient Quimbaya did, navigating on rafts made of guadua, a type of bamboo, which has been described as the vegetable steel. The rafts have the technological improvements that human ingenuity has achieved to ensure safe navigation, while descending the river, with the tranquility of the current and the excitement of small rapids. Learn details of the ecosystem of the guadual, enjoy a waterfall that will refresh you. On the banks of the river, we will have a picnic lunch, enjoying the flavors of this land, under the cool shade of the guadual trees.
